Challenging the Exam
If you are currently licensed in another province as a salesperson or manager/broker and would like to become licensed
in New Brunswick, then you are eligible to challenge the pre-licensing salesperson's or manager's exam, in whichever
category you currently hold a license.
To challenge a real estate exam in New Brunswick you must:
- Make application to the NBREA Committee of Examiners to challenge the examination. With this letter of application, you must provide proof of having been licensed in your province of origin within the previous six months.
- The Committee must approve your application.
- Pay a registration fee of $500 for which you will receive pertinent manuals and be allowed one sitting of the examination. (You may submit the fee with your application to speed up the process; payment is accepted by cheque, Visa, MasterCard, or money order.)
- Register with NBREA to write the examination by contacting the Director of Education at 506-462-9286
